Othelia Mhlongo, Founder and Principal Consultant of 3 KNGS Consulting (Pty) Ltd, is
a highly experienced business transformation leader with over 20 years of expertise
in business architecture, process optimisation, quality management, and operational
excellence.
Her career spans multiple sectors, including nuclear energy, water utilities, public revenue
services, banking, and insurance, where she has consistently delivered measurable
business value through strategic leadership and practical implementation.
At Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA), Othelia developed and implemented a Group-wide
Quality Assurance Department, Strategy, and Framework, strengthening governance,
compliance, and operational consistency.
She directed the ISO 9001 Quality Management System implementations at both
RMA and Rand Water, achieving certication and embedding a culture of continuous
improvement. At the South African Revenue Service (SARS), she established the Business
Architecture Division, aligning processes and structures with strategic objectives to
improve organisational capability and execution.

Previously, she led Industrial and Process Engineering teams at Absa and Nedbank, and managed large-scale transformation programmes across Barclays Africa,

integrating people, processes, and technology across multiple markets. Othelia holds an MBA, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and TOGAF-certied Business Architect, with additional qualications in Business Analysis and Quality Management.
